Welcome 2010!

I thought it would be good to write a few words so early into the New Year! I don't know what your expectations and hopes are for the New Year. But I think it will be exciting. I have a feeling that we will be going to do some things that we have never done before. Something that will take us out of our comfort zone. Only God knows what it is and time will reveal if we have the 'right stuff'. Whatever it is that is coming, we can be assured that nothing is going to separate us from the love of God! Do I hear an 'Amen' for that? The safest place to be in this world is to abide in Him and remain in His love. Don't lose that love for Him - the first love!

Blessed New Year to all of you!
Ps. Ben

p.s. For the New Year I thought of a 'makeover' for this blog. Let me know what you think of this template. If you don't like it, we can always change!

Christmas Night Entertainers!

Some of our young people became part time entertainers for our recent Christmas Dinner event. Not only can they sing but they have some discovered some new musicians making their public debut! Lookout for this new found talent in the years to come. Is there going to be a GEFC Youth Band in the works? We will all just have to wait and see.

Joy to the World!

The 3D Days

Just like to wish all of you a BIG thank you for making the seminar a success - the planners, executioners & participants! Despite the torturing pace esp. on Day 2, you all survived. At least most of you made it to the final day. Altogether we had 19 participants who showed up on Day 1. I trust and hope you as participants have benefited in some way in your life journey.

Well, we hope to see some of you join us either on a more regular basis in our youth meetings or when we come out with a new event next year. I wonder what alphabet we will use next after 'G' and 'D'! Until then just enjoy some of the pictures below.

See you all soon

3D Day

The 3-D day has come. Tomorrow we will begin! We have confirmed 20 young people. I think it is going to be fun and interesting. Well, we will just have to find out, don't we? Let us know what you think after the event. By next week we should have some pix to see what we had done. So wait patiently.

For those who are not able to attend the Seminar, why not join us for "The Christmas Carol" event on Saturday night. It starts from 6.45 pm for buffet dinner and then by 7.45 pm we will have a time of songs, presentations and a Christmas message. We are going to have a group from PJEFC to do a skit and a soloist to sing a few songs.

See you all then!

On Target!

Dear Friends

Thank you all who have registered for the 3-D seminar. As of today we have met our target of 20 youths! There could be a few more trickling in after last Saturday's deadline. We still have space for the late comers. So if you are still undecided whether you want to come or not, you are given a grace period till the end of the week! But please don't wait till the last minute to register to help our planning of the resources and materials.

Make a decision now to come and you will not regret it! Your time and $$$ investment will be well spent.

Looking forward to seeing you all!

3G Revisited

Hello 3G Alumni & Friends!

It's more than 7 months since our gathering for the seminar. You have grown older by that number of months too! I trust that some of the lessons were helpful to you. Here are some pictures to refresh your memory.

If you do not know (cannot be, right?), we will be having another seminar soon called the 3-D. Those who are not able to make it, we miss you (sniff....sniff!).

But don't worry! If you still like to hang out with us and cannot attend the 3-D Seminar then there is still another chance to meet up. Come for the Christmas night event that we are calling "The Christmas Carol" on Dec 19 @ 6.45 pm. First have dinner with us and then join us for some fun together. We have invited some guest artistes from other churches to perform. At the moment we are finalising with them what they would like to do. So be patient and keep in touch in future blogs!

To those taking your SPM, just relax and be cool! Don't let any mistakes get you down. Get up and get ready to jump the next hurdle. Take it one at a time and you should be all right. All our prayers are also with you.

Peace!

3 more days to go...

2nd December 2009, indicating there is a few more days ( 3 more days!!) before the deadline of our 3D seminar!! Thus, gear up people if you want to participate in this amazing life-changing event!!

FEAR NOT!! We would not BITE like Jacob Black in Twilight Saga: New Moon when he transform into werewolf to hunt down the BAD GUYS. *muahaha*

As one of the youth member of GRACE EFC, and of course a friend and a sister in Christ, I would greatly encourage you to come and experience something different during this hols. To a non-christian, take this chance to know and understand the faith of your Christian friends with an open heart, while to the Christians, this would further encourage your faith in Christ and to develop your true potential in Kingdom of Christ!

Make a change!
